Car Buyer's Guide

REMEMBER

New car prices are not the same at every dealer.  You can save thousands by shopping around.  Don't compare car prices and trade-in offers separately.  The only guide to a good deal is the final change-over cost.

When you buy from a licensed dealer you're guaranteed clear title and you are protected by the Motor Dealers Compensation Fund if the dealer fails to meet it's obligations.

You may be able to buy cheaply at auctions or privately -- in these cases make sure you carry out a REVS check.

If you sign your name to anything it's probably a contract.
